Today Mom is really in the mood of speaking English :p
Anyway, last night when Charlene went to bed, Dada n Mom-mom were having a serious discussion about how to discipline Charlene.
Lately, Mom had been really exhausted taking care of Charlene and Mom even rarely enjoyed her own time. Taking an enjoyable showering has been a privilege. Napping has ceased.
It almost seems and sounds that Mom's liberty has been robbed by Charlene :(
I know this isn't true. My liberty has NOT been robbed by my own child.
After reflecting and discussing this issue with my husband, we begin to realize that MAYBE so far I has *volunteered* giving my liberty to my own baby without realizing it. When she wants me to hold her, I answer her need by holding her 'till she goes to bed. In the middle of her sleeping, if she wakes up and demands another holding, I gives what she wants! OH boy!!!
This ends up of having me not having my own time.
We figured out that I need to be brave and strong enough to let her CRY as she doesn't get what she wants (me holding her, in this case).
I know it will be hard because deep inside my heart, it's heart-breaking to hear her crying so loud that my parents start to pity her. Usually, to evade hearing their granddaughter's cry, they go to the traditional market and/or sleep.
Anyway, today Charlene actually had slept for 30 minutes starting from 8.30 in the morning after taking a bath. However, at 9 she woke up and demanded me holding her. I refused and gave her pinky instead. Of course, consequently she cried out loud. She continued crying even after I changed her diapers, wiped her sweat. She even cried when my dad chatted with her and tried to sooth her by rocking her tiny little body. My mom finally couldn't hold herself of not holding her up. I warned her not to do that. She ended of holding Charlene for about 5 - 10 seconds, but then with the pinky inside her mouth, Charlene went to bed.

Hot, mom!!!!
Just today Charlene cried because of the hot weather. I didn't think of that first of all. I thought she was just trying to get my attention.
I let her cry for about 10 minutes. As I lifted her up to my embrace, I could see she was sweating. Poor my little girl... I am so sorry, dear....

Day 4
Charlene had been sleeping the whole day from 9.30 in the morning to 1.30 in the afternoon with no single break! After that, she had her milk time for about 30 minutes and went to bed for a second time today.
At around 5, she woke up and I fed her. I finally decided not to let her take another sleep this evening. I then got her to my mom and asked her help to keep Charlene awake at least up to 8 o'clock. For about 3 hours, Charlene (hardly) slept comfortably. Too many noises, I suppose!
At last!! Charlene had her milk at 8p.m. She stayed awake until 9.30p.m. as she fell asleep. This time, it was another long sleep of 3hours. In the middle of the night around 1.30, she woke up for her milk time. It was kinda tiring this time. She drank quite a lot, but then she threw it up. Her shirt and mine got wet, and her blanket did too. She opened her eyes widely and she barely slept for the next 1.5hours. Daniel volunteered to babysit Charlene during this time ;) which is very sweet of him. Well...I could barely sleep during those times but resting for a while helped a lot.
Luckily, at 3a.m., she felt asleep and that gave us a chance to sleep.................

Whew!!! PRAISE THE LORD FOR HE IS GOOD!!!!
After a long tiring journey of ups-and-downs contractions over contractions for more than 36 hours, finally on February 1st, 2008 at 4.48p.m. local time, CHARLENE AVERY KURNIANTO, was born through a normal delivery at Bunda Maternity Hospital in Semarang.
She was 3.25kilograms and 51centimeters ;)
We stayed in the hospital for two nights after the delivery and headed home on Sunday, February 3rd, 2008 - which is, Daniel's birthday.
We stopped by at our future home-to-be :)

Shocking news
I am pretty surprised! My sister-in-law just got back from the hospital - having her womb's condition checked. Surprisingly, there was no opening although the water broke and she had got flex since yesterday. She then headed back home.
I begin to wonder now how about my case? I didn't feel hurt. Is it because I broke the curse of Eve? hehehe ;)

It's coming any time
My sister-in-law is now in hospital too. The water has started to leak since this morning and she has got the flex starting from last night. Baby "Joshua Alexander Kurniadi" will be born sometime today, I suppose.
Wow! I guess "Charlene Avery Kurnianto" doesn't want to be left alone. Just now, I started to have the flex. I called the doctor and asked his opinion of whether I should go to the hospital now or wait for stronger contraction to come. He was about to do the operation. Lucky me! I still had a chance to consult him. "It's about time", he said. "Once the contraction is going on every 10 minutes, go to the hospital and I'll see you there".
Just to make sure my condition is just perfect for the labor, I try my best to stand - I dried my hair standing, ironing the baby's clothes, etc.
Of course, to prepare myself better, I also re-read the pregnancy books I have been reading lately.
I took a notebook and a pen to keep track of the contractions going on.

Approaching the due date
Oh...I started to have a sense that the baby is coming out pretty soon.
This morning as I walked up Kauman Street with my mom and dad, I could feel the baby was pushing down and it started to hurt.
I got back home, Daniel was still sleeping. I crawled the bed and pulled the blanket - not to wake him up, I positioned my body to the left so the baby's feet wouldn't hurt my upper right ribs.
It worked out very well.
I, however, still felt the stomachache experience - as people say, that could be the sign of the first phase of contractions.
Minutes later, Daniel woke up and I told him to get ready to welcome the baby in days ;)
He was extremely excited. After taking a bath, the three of us (with the baby, for sure!) prayed together and he whispered to my stomach telling our little one that today was the 29th.
We have been telling our baby today's date so *she* (as the doctor says) keeps track of the dates. Funny, huh???
Every morning, our routine is to read her Biblical verses. I sometime feel that when she hasn't heard any of those, she is sad.... I find it interesting and comforting to know that she grows spiritually too ;)

My last day
January 25th, 2008 is my last day before my maternity leave starts on campus. I took the change to say "see you later" to some colleagues and friends.
Tomorrow is a new beginning.
Hopefully, I will be able to start the pregnancy class next week. At least, one class will help.

Terribly sleepy
This afternoon, I felt terribly sleepy. I sent a chatting message to Daniel if it was OK with him to nap. He strongly disapproved that idea.
I was a little bit upset (for sure!). We argued for quite some time, but still he held fast to his thought. He thought sleeping wouldn't ease my labor. I should have exercised more instead. Walking is what he recommends best (as some books do too).
Oh... I envy to other pregnancy women who could enjoy their pampering themselves with spas, massages, napping, etc during their third semester, especially approaching their due-date.
I, myself, still work on correcting students' thesis, doing laundry (our baby's clothes), etc.
To be honest, ever since I got pregnant, I only napped for more or less 5 times. (well..this might not be the exact number, but trust me...my fingers can still accommodate the frequency of my nap)
I do understand though that when he told me to exercise, he wanted it for my own good.
I just feel really exhausted now. My body is getting heavier to carry, I hardly sleep well especially at night and my back starts to hurt.
What I want is to rest just for a while........

My head is down now ^_^
Whew....Praise the LORD! We are so relieved knowing that the baby's head position is just right now! We figured this out during our last doctor visit on Saturday.
Daniel and I had been constantly telling the baby to move "her" head position starting from our last doctor visit. I also had to do some certain positions every morning and night to help the baby to move "her" head around easily.
The doctor says that the baby is going to be a baby girl.... but we never know for sure until the due date, don't we??
Anyway, we are more than thrilled having this baby inside me - regardless of the gender :p
Funny the way my mom made a promise to herself, say, "I will kiss you once your head position is just right". Finding out the right head position, she kissed my tummy and told the baby about her promise.
For the last few months, every morning (if she isn't away), she prepares a glass of milk for me - for the baby, she said. Sometime last month, she boiled traditional medicines of "thousands" of herbs to strengthen the baby. Well...I am exaggerating the "thousands" here.
It was OK! (I mean... It of course didn't taste as sweet as honey - what can you expect from traditional Chinese medicine??? To me, it was just fine.)
Right before I drank them, I told the baby that they were for our goodness. I did this simply because I started to notice that the baby has developed "alarming sensor" detecting foods and beverages. Once I drank not-too-fresh carrot juice, not after 10 minutes, I ran to the kitchen sink vomiting! At other times, when I ate a small bite of pineapple, soon I also experienced the same thing. It seemed like the baby was telling me, "Mommy, I don't want this!"
Anyway... I could just be my own feeling :p

Kicking my rib, dear kid?
Our baby has a new routine now. He/she starts to enjoy kicking my right ribs. Somehow, it's kinda odd because whenever I tell him/her not to "hurt" me, he/she insists on doing it. However, when Daniel tells him/her to do the same thing of not "hurting" me, he/she immediately obeys the father's authority ;)
Uh....one more interesting thing the baby lately did was that he/she kept hiccups-ing every now and then. It's really cute!!! I am amazed at how God created this living being inside me..INCREDIBLE!!

What a sweet dinner
After work, Daniel got home, took a shower, and we rushed to Laras Asri for a special dinner in an event of our third wedding anniversary.
Both of us had a wonderful time. Before we started eating our dishes, Daniel held my hand and we prayed together. It was so sweet.
After all the heavy load at works, we rarely had a quality time together and so glad we finally had that chance ;)

Our wedding anniv...
Exactly today, November 21st, 2007 is our third wedding anniv.
Mom and Dad, my sista only sent out SMS(es) to us early in the morning. My uncle in Jakarta called at home to congratulate us but we left home already. I had a morning class to teach and Daniel drove me to campus and headed to office.
Two guys from the office chatted me and congratulated me too. They also asked whether I would be back helping at Forindo or not. Sadly, I had to say NO. I'd love to dedicate my everything to our baby (and babies??). It will be my privilege to be a full-time mom ;)
Talking about food... for dinner, Mom cooked special dishes for both of us: "Mie siram" with fried shrimps and eggs... Hmm...Yummy!
That's not the ending....
Late at night around 11 when I was sleeping, I was waken up by the sound of my SMS. It was from our beloved pastor in Boston, Pastor Zee, Buk-e (Kak Lita), and their two wonderful jewels: Cherissa and Kayla. It was so sweet that they remembered our wedding anniversary.

Bosen oi
Hari ini bosen banget ndak ngapa2in.....
Bahan revisi PIBBI ketinggalan di kampus, jadi ndak isa ngapa2in juga nih :( trus sekarang lagi bingung mau ngapain yach?
Berhubung ndak ngapa2in badan malah jadi pegel-pegel.
Trus ni Mey lagi mikir..la ntar kalo udah cuti hamil dari kampus, trus ndak ngapa2in piye no?? Udah bikin list mau ngapain setelah cuti, tapi paling isine yach jalan-jalan di pagi hari. La trus dari habis jalan-jalan pagi sampe malem ngapain yach???

Test - Is this working?
For quite some times, I have been trying to open the blogger but I have never managed for even once but now. I am currently using Daniel's laptop and it works out!! simply because it is set up automatically.
Whew... next time I try to open this using my laptop and/or others, the question is then "Will that work out well too?"

My tummy is getting bigger
I feel like my tummy is getting bigger, Daniel thinks so too. Some others, however, don't seem to witness the changing size of my tummy.
My colleagues, for example, reasoned saying that my tummy is similarly like theirs. Oh boy!
Every time Daniel has a chance, he always gently touches my bigger tummy and whispers to our baby how much he loves him/her?? (A baby boy/ a baby girl??) - We don't know.
We still haven't come to a conclusion of checking the gender or not. On one hand, it is going to be a surprise! One the other hand, knowing the gender would give us more preparation.
Anyway, what's more important is to have a healthy baby - precious in God's eyes.
In turn, Daniel and I read the baby chapters of the Bible - God's beloved and dearest child in my womb is going to be strong in spirit - fear of God shall overfill him.
I am used to calling my dad and my mom as "Kung-kung" and "Bo-bo". My only sister as "A Yik". My oldest brother as "Tai Giok", etc.
Referent names from Daniel's side are much easier to remember. Daniel's dad is "Engkong". Daniel's brothers and sister are "Uncles" and "Auntie". It's pretty simple, isn't it?

I am expecting! Hurray! Praise the LORD ^_^
Last Wednesday, Daniel and I figured out that I am pregnant - a six-week pregnancy, said the doctor.
It was all started about a week ago, in the afternoon between 11 and 2, I always felt like I almost got fainted - black out, I should say. At first I thought perhaps it was just a PMS. Recalling my previous experience, it wasn't the way it used to be. I then told Daniel about it and we decided on Tuesday afternoon after lunch to buy a test pack.
On Wednesday morning around 6.30, I woke up and next thing is... Daniel jumped onto our bed and happily he said, "POSITIF! It's positif!" We then walked into our bathroom and checked the result. Indeed, it was positif!
Daniel was so thrilled, he decided to take a day off from work. I had a morning class to teach, so I rushed to campus. After my class, plenty of SMSes filled my cell. My dad-in-law called me on my cell congratulating me. I then called Daniel and we decided to check to a doctor and do some tests in Semarang.
On our way, I got nausea. We then decided to have lunch in Ungaran - just didn't want to have an empty stomach. Anyway..to cut the story short, in the doctor's room, we had an USG test. Praise the LORD! The fetal is in the womb. He/she/they??? (Who don't know) is so cute and tiny. It's so amazing looking at the creation of our great GOD.

Fussy girls in my IC class
Today when I was teaching IC, I was angry to a group of students (girls!!!)
Why girls are so fussy?
Anyway, to cut the story short, after conducting the quiz at the beginning of the meeting today, I had a short discussion of the quiz. All students were counting their own mistakes - how many correct and wrong answers - things like those.
I went on explaining and giving more examples and exercises (as they requested a week earlier). In the middle of my lecturing, I stopped and told the girls to just go outside the class if they wanted to chat in the class. Again, I reminded them strongly, if they'd like to stay in the classroom, they shouldn't have acted that way.
I intentionally didn't really look into their eyes as I explained to other kids. I skipped them. Even if I looked into their eyes - it's just a glance. This has happened repeatedly in my class. Last week, I remembered I also told them not to chat in the classroom. I guess they didn't take my reminder seriously. Well...I hope this time they will realize what they did wrong.
The lessons continued pretty well with the other students ;)
We went over some exercises - some students came forward and wrote their answers on the board and they got their answers correctly. Some other students were taking notes.
After the class, some students stayed for quite some time asking for more explanations and/or just chatting.
Sometime, I am just wondering. This trimester, these students' future is a mystery. It could be a new beginning of their college life. On the other hand, it could be the end of their college life at the English Department (aka. Drop Out).
We, teachers, have been trying our best to help, motivate, encourage, and support them in many ways, but some students are just too ignorant. Although we have been given many sources and/or materials, only few students really work on their best - showing good efforts of their share. The rest...I don't know... and I don't dare to imagine...what kind of life are they going to live in? - disappointment, for sure! Regret - no doubt for that!
Well... so far, I have done a lot to help them. Hopefully, they will soon realize that when I take a moment to talk to them giving them advice - that means, I still care about them! ;)
Why girls are so fussy?
Anyway, to cut the story short, after conducting the quiz at the beginning of the meeting today, I had a short discussion of the quiz. All students were counting their own mistakes - how many correct and wrong answers - things like those.
I went on explaining and giving more examples and exercises (as they requested a week earlier). In the middle of my lecturing, I stopped and told the girls to just go outside the class if they wanted to chat in the class. Again, I reminded them strongly, if they'd like to stay in the classroom, they shouldn't have acted that way.

Kue Bandung batal deh...
What a pity!
Ko Dani wanted to eat some "Kue Bandung". Unfortunately, on our way back home, the kiosk wasn't open for business.
Fortunately, as we arrived back home, kinds of dishes are ready on our dining table. Fried noodles, snacks (rolade, bakwan mie, etc), "kacang panjang dimasak ma udang n taoco".

In July, my sister is retiring
My one and only sister is retiring in July. She has been working like crazy for years and she needs to take a break for quite some time.
At first she was worried to let our parents know of her intention. Somehow, God surprised her!
Our dad's reaction was completely out of our mind. He supported her 100%. He patted on her back and longed the month of July to come. He is hoping to spending time with her during his retirement period.
Today, she told her supervisor. At first, she wasn't certain of her decision. I told her to look upon GOD and seek HIS answer. She then firmly said that it was God's will for her to retire.
If God says so, it's up to us to choose to trust or not to trust HIM. She chose to trust HIM.
I am proud of what she decides! She has chosen the best in her life - trusting GOD.
In the middle of July, she will be moving in to Salatiga. AHA! Full house! Dad, Mom, Koh Han (my oldest brother - who is still single, but no longer available), my sister (still single and available...anyone???), and of course, Koko and I.
Since Mom and Dad moved in, we got a lot of stuffs in the house. You name it! hehehe :p
Talking about retirement, Dad is still looking for a number of possibilities of spending his retirement period, starting from boarding house, public library, restaurant, property/ construction, pet shop, etc. He has got a lot in his mind.
Once he was thinking to work part-time in another company in Pekalongan. He went to meet the company owner, but he wasn't there.
4 out of his 5 kids object to his intention to work again. Strangely, my other brother said that he preferred to let our dad work in a factory than climbing a ladder and fell down. Well..one day, when he was fixing a lamp outside the house, he fell down from the ladder. The next day, dad told mom that his back was in pain.

Miss you, my blog
Whew..finally! I had a time to really relax (well..not necessarily relax because I still have a lot on my plates).
For the last few days, I had been trying to log in to this blog. Unfortunately, I completely forgot what the username and password was. Anyway, I figured it out now. Whew!!
I have got a lot of good news to tell:
Our parents from my side moved in with us.
Some may say that this is not good news because we are now living under the same roof. I have to say that let's see it from a positive point of view. We eat dinner at home - our mom cooks for us.
As I always budget a certain amount of money for dinner, I allocate the money to my mom to shop. Things are getting better ;) Eat more nutritious foods, spend quality time together and many more.
We are about to build our own home.
Once we prayed to God that we would like to have a home and a car for our future kids to take shelter from the burning sun, blowing and freezing wind at night....
We have been trying our best to save our money. For sure, tithing is a MUST. It's been our privillege to be able to save some of our money entrusted in our lives to also help others (funding missions, sponsoring our beloved brother to study at uni, etc). God has been good to us.
We are blessed to bless others and yes, that's true!
We are still lack of cash, but we keep our faith in HIM. He is our provider and as HIS words say everything is possible! AMIN! ^_^
Our sister-in-law is expecting.
They got married in November last year (2006) and just two weeks ago, cheerfully they let us know of the good news! Good for them! Congratulations!
On one hand, I am happy.... On the other hand, well...it's tiring for me, actually having my father-in-law "bugging" me with his questions of when we're going to have our own.
It's strange because he never directs the question to my hubby (which is his own son).
So one day, I sort of complained to him saying why didn't you help me out when he questioned me with that same-and-over question. Calmly, Daniel said, "Well....Why should that bother you? Just disregard that! Don't ever think about it seriously."
Deep inside my heart, I told myself not to take it seriously but another voice said that I should be respectively polite to my dad-in-law and that I shouldn't disregard him. I just can't dare to do thing like that.
At other time, when we were paying a visit to my sister-in-law, I shared my feeling to her. I told her things I need to say. Feeling relief, we went home as the clock suggested that it's time to go.
In our bedroom, I told my hubby that I intentionally shared my feeling to my sis-in-law because I know she will let my dad-in-law know of this. Hopefully, and I can only hope, that this pressure will cease pretty soon.
Honestly, I can't blame the fact that all parents would expect grandchildren from their own bloods (read: sons and daughters). It's just that when it's not yet HIS time, let's not push ourself that hard!
Above all, in everything that we have in our lives, we give thanks!
In everything that we haven't got, we give praises for He is a faithful God and our provider. He knows the BEST for us!
What we have in mind may not be as perfect as HIS thoughts/plans, so let's keep our eyes on HIM and walk in our FAITH in HIM! ^_^

Jeje's birthday gift
Today is Jeje's birthday, but we bought her a gift yesterday. We (Daniel and me) took her to the "Felicia" toy store in Salatiga.
She was so excited! Before we got off the car, I told Iva (Jeje's younger sister) that this time Jeje would choose her own birthday gift and that Iva's turn was next month. She agreed to that! - which made me really glad. She was quite strong head but I still wanted to let her know that this time was her sister's day!
We went around the store starting from the front door to the end of the store. Jeje (as well as Iva) were so excited! Their eyes were widely opened! hehehe :)
Jeje found a giant dolphin dool - blue and white. She loved it so much from the first sight. First of all, it was quite small (if compared to the extremely huge size), but then we looked around again...and found a bigger dolphin with a better texture of fur.
She hugged the doll really tight and she was smiling happily.
Daniel and me asked her if she would like others, firmly she said, "NO. I want this one - the dolphin".
Very well... Daniel finally paid for that, the salesperson put the dolphin is two plastic bags up side down. hehehe... Jeje held the doll as her parents finally got to the store. They asked her what she got. As her parents, intentionally Jeje would like to have "pig", but then after interacting with the dolphin, she seemed to fall in love with it.
We drove to have dinner from the store to "ayam bawang". It was unfortunate, the chicken breast was all sold out. No option! I got the thigh! Uh..hate it but nothing else to eat.

"RAKER" in Bandungan
Together with my colleagues, we left our beloved campus on Friday morning around 7 by cars. I was in the same car with Bu Andri, Bu Raema, Michelle, Bu Pur and her son named Lawang :)
On our way to Bandungan, we stop accross "Roncali" to pick up Victor.
Arriving there, we directly went to the meeting room ready to start our meeting. It was unfortunate that we forgot to bring along with us the box containing all the files for the meeting. I called Pak Hendro hoping to ask him favor to get the box, but I couldn't reach him on his cell.
VU called the administration officer asking whether the box was still in front of the administation building of the university. It was there! Thanks GOD!
Luckly, our rector (who is Anne's father) was still on the way to Bandungan. Anne called his dad to do us a favor. Whew.... what a relief!
The chairperson (VU) took action. We modified our schedule - snack came first! Well...no one was complaining, of course!
The whole meeting was packed. We rarely had free time - well....only one hour to check in, unpack our bags, take shower then head back to another sessions! hehehe...
That night on the same day, we were chatting by the pool. In the middle of nowhere, Victor and Rio jumped into the pool. Almost everyone screamed!
Bu Andri, Joseph, and some other lecturers went to Ambawara buying "jagung bakar" (Well...We can also call the words in quotations in English, but the culture carried in Indonesian expressions is deeper.)
Around 10, I was about to go to my room. On the way, however, I knocked on AI and Nn's room. We chatted for quite some time then I decided to just stay in my room.
Well...well...well... That was just a plan that never happened. Jos was still awake and we were chatting then Pak Anton came in and we stayed awake discussing many issues in the living room (was it a living room? I am not sure but I guess so. hehehe)
About an around later, Bu Ina came in and joined our discussion ' till midnight.
I excused myself first to go to bed at midnight after brushing my teeth, washing my face, and my hands plus feet. Of course, I prayed before I went to bed. I was afraid at first that I would sneeze like crazy due to my allergic to dust.
The next morning around 6, I opened my eyes and Bu Ina welcomed me "good morning". I was shocked at first. I didn't expect that she was already awake. hehehe...
Not long after that, she was all ready in her sports shoes, red back, neat and sporty walking around the hotel and up to the village.
After all the meetings, we finished up the "RAKER" with our usual tradition of taking photos. Someone (the hotel guest) walked by and Bu Ina requested him to take our photos - which is really good - everyone can be in the pic.
Lunch at "Rina Rini" restaurant was waiting for us. It wasn't really delicious but OK. I got home around 3 and called Koko on his cell. He was in the office waiting for me....hehehe... but I was at home.
We finally went out for lunch (he had lunch and I watched) hahaha =)
As we got home from lunch, I went to bed! I was so tired and taking a rest helped me a lot to refresh my body. Daniel was watching television when I woke up around 7 p.m.
We went to have dinner in "Beringin" restaurant that night. We order "ca kangkung" and "sup kepiting jagung". Yummy! These ones are much better than my lunch....

Snacking ;)
It has been years for me not to eat any snacks. This evening I had my snack time with "Lemonia Cookies" :p
Hm..it's yummy! I used to buy and eat the snacks with my one and only sister. It was years ago in our boarding house.

My puppy died
Yesterday night as Daniel drove to car in the garage, the puppy was somehow walking under the wheel. Accidently, "kelindes"!!!
I tried to take her into my embrace, but the bones were all broken. Her body turned into 2 parts :p
Hiks..hiks... We were so sad tonight! It was an accident right before we went to bad.

Boy! I miss Boston!
I don't know what trigger me to feel this way! But BOY! I miss Boston!
Suddenly I could feel my heart beat really fast thinking of Boston! ;)
It's kinda funny, huh! When I was in the United States, I also missed Salatiga - our memorable place - and everything in it.
I missed the food. Just mention it! "Bakmi Tek-tek, Pecel Madya, Mpek-mpek depan gereja Katholik St. Miki, etc." I missed the city as well as the people. Having my family close to me was a something special. It is still a something special to me now.
Now, it's fall there. I miss enjoying the falling leaves. I miss looking at different colors of leaves while waiting for my bus, walking to my campus or while I was on the bus.
It is cool there, but I miss walking hand-in-hand with my husband in the cold weather, to a Malay restaurant in Allston for a bowl of hot and sour soup - my hubby's fav.
I also miss playing around with the snow. I haven't had a chance to make my own snow angel (I wish I could do that!). I also missed seeing the snow falling down on my head, touching the wonderfully white snow, and walking outside in my red winter coat that I love best.
I hate the storm though. Koko still had to go to work though it was storming. I hate thinking about the fact that he had to walk for 10 minutes or so from the bus stop to his office in those stormy days.
It's kinda funny but I miss the Sunday School kids! I miss their smiles. I miss their hugs. They used to remind me of my nieces and my nephew.
Now, the only day I could meet my nieces is Sunday for an hour or so. It's hardly a case to meet my nephew - he is in Jakarta.
Seeing his face from the webcam has been a very reliefing experience.
Boy.... thinking about them makes me cry. Tears are falling from my eyes. An employee was passing by Koko's office and taking a peek of what I did - wiping my tears at the corners of my eyes.
OK! I'd better stop now ;)

A day of surprises!
Yes! I know you are raising your eyebrows reading my blog.
Yesterday the mouse trap got its victim! a flithy big black mouse!!!! Being trapped, the mouse pissed and snapped in the trap. It was so disgusting, I should say.
Zak told Daniel on skype and we weren't able to picture that 'till today we finally saw the dirty floor.
I couldn't stand with the flithy floor so I ended up cleaning the floor. I swept Daniel's office. Then, I got another surprise, a diet coke was "exploded" in the fridge. O boy! the fridge was so dirty that I finally took a few pieces of wet tissues and started to clean the fridge.
Whew.. it was so disgusting!
Thanks GOD! Finally at noon, the cleaning lady showed up. I asked her to start coming in to office everyday instead of once every two days. She agreed with a raise.
That's fine! We can still afford that!
I left for campus around 1 p.m. on "angkota" public transportation. As soon as I arrived on campus, I mailed the documents for import license. I then went to "Lippo Bank" to transfer payment. Unfortunately, I forgot the amount of money, I then called Daniel on his cell asking his favor to check the number.
Not only I transfered payment to INTEC, I also had a chance to change small amount of money from the bank. It is intended for tipping. Zak needs it eventually.
After that, I walked along the path to F building..to my office... checking my empty box, then calling the computer lab to book for my "Writing 4" class that was a horrible thing last Friday.
Today I was feeling no burden. A test for "Reading 3" class, which means no preparation...but a waiting correction soon! hehehe :)
A student came late because he thought the class was on the green grass like last week. Poor him! At first I was thinking to give me extra time but he finally finished the test on time, so I put off my intention.
I went back to Daniel's office and there my lunch was waiting! Well..it was not really appropriate "lunch time" actually. It was 4.30 p.m. You tell me...is it lunch?? hehehe...
Oh..I almost forget...today as I was in the angkota from campus, there was a patrol. The angkota's driver suddenly took a U-turn in the middle of the road avoiding the police officers. O boy! Everyone in the angkota was shocked!
The angkota violated the route and the traffic regulations! As a consequence, I had to walk at the back of "Taman Sari" Square. It was an OK walk though; not too far.
Yesterday the mouse trap got its victim! a flithy big black mouse!!!! Being trapped, the mouse pissed and snapped in the trap. It was so disgusting, I should say.
Zak told Daniel on skype and we weren't able to picture that 'till today we finally saw the dirty floor.
I couldn't stand with the flithy floor so I ended up cleaning the floor. I swept Daniel's office. Then, I got another surprise, a diet coke was "exploded" in the fridge. O boy! the fridge was so dirty that I finally took a few pieces of wet tissues and started to clean the fridge.
Whew.. it was so disgusting!
Thanks GOD! Finally at noon, the cleaning lady showed up. I asked her to start coming in to office everyday instead of once every two days. She agreed with a raise.
That's fine! We can still afford that!

Writing 4 conference
This afternoon after my TFEC class, I hurried to go Daniel's office to get hooked to the internet connection to do my "Writing 4 conference class".
Some students are already online before the agreed time at 1.30 p.m.
Haven't had my lunch, I was kinda starving. I tried to eat but it didn't work out well. Some students kept bugging me with the questions of when to start the class, how to set the conference, why no one invite them, etc.
I was stressed out!!!
I thought my students knew how to do the conference, but my mistake! It was an absolute mistake!!! About half of the students are unfamiliar about it, not to mention, some other unpredictable "X" factors such as different version of yahoo, off lights, etc.
So I finally ended up to schedule another meeting with the students next week. Hopefully I can book the computer lab.

Kinda sleepy today!
Hehehe...'coz last night I stayed awake till midnite (hehehe), this morning I am kinda sleepy.
The alarm was turned off my Koko and both of us went to sleep again!
We woke up around 7.30. Immediately, we held hands and prayed together then read the Bible.
Koko also sent an sms to one of his employees saying that he would be late today. We left home around 8.30 a.m.
I left our bedroom open so that our helper (Mbak Nur) would be able to clean the room.
Thanks GOD! We finally get a help from Mbak Nur.
She is willing to help us cleaning the house.
This morning, I would like to also feed the dogs before leaving home. It seems that, however, Koh Han had fed them.
Koko drove me to campus. I checked my box and got lots of handouts for Reading 3!!
Whew... 'coz the other day I was ill, I cancelled Reading 3 class on Monday, so next week I have to teach two subjects in one meeting!
Wish me luck!!!
In addition to the handouts, there is a big envelope of IC test for today at 9. I went down with FK and took the keys of the classrooms in the "security counter".
The students had been waiting in front of the room sitting on the floor.
As I opened the door, all students tried to get their favorite seats.
I explained the rules of the test and asked them to sit on every other chair. (I also organized the chairs...lifting the chairs up, literally) hehehe...
The students were so quiet! hehehe..good...good..good!!!!
I also had some time to read a Reading 3 handout too.
After finishing up all my teaching duties, I went by angkuta to Koko's office. Before that, I bought 2 donuts (sprinkle and cheese) for me and Koko.
Apparently, as I arrived Koko was starving so the donut came on time! (hehehe...)
Good news!!! The legal incorporation from the department of law has just arrived, so together with Koko, we went to the lawyer office and took the certificate.
We copied the documents and called Pak Mantri to help us with the administration, that is legalization of the documents.
Thanks GOD! You are AMAZINGLY GOOD!!!
AHA! Not yet the end of God's goodness in our lives!
Got a call from Koh Hendro around 5 saying that the truck will leave for Semarang tonight and arrive in Semarang around 9 in the morning, then to Salatiga!!!

The telephone rang while we were asleep
I'm kinda sleepy today.
Last night Ko Dani and Me had slept soundly around 9 p.m. Suddenly, around 10 p.m., the telephone rang.
First of all, it was our home phone. It rang for about 1 minute or so, but no one answered the phone. Finally a second later, my cell phone rang. I didn't answer the phone, Koko did. Apparently it was Jeremy on the phone.
It was kinda late. Jeremy said that it would be just a 15-minute short discussion on the phone. Unfortunately, it ended up to be a 2-hour phone and skype conversation.
At first, I was forcing myself to stay sleeping regardless of the conversation Koko and Jeremy had.
But NO!!! That didn't work out that well. I just couldn't sleep! so I woke up and listened attentively to the discussion too.
Once in a while, I took note of important decisions, follow-ups, and plans Formulatrix Indonesia had to take into consideration in the near future!
Whew.... finally the conversation was ended. but HEY!!!!

Then Koko sort of complaint saying that I shouldn't stay awake! I should go to bed!

Koko flew to Surabaya
Yeah right!
Early in the morning at 6.30, Koko was picked up by Ko Deby (our in-law) to Semarang.
Well.. Ko Deby works in Semarang, so everyday he has to drive to Semarang.
Whew...cann't imagine living that kind of life! Thanks GOD! Koko opens his business in Salatiga! ^_^ Thank YOU, Lord!
Anyway, last night before I went to bed, I had prepared the shirt for Koko to wear today. Therefore, I didn't have to wake up early to set the clothes.
Good thing is I have also prepared the gifts to the Harford representative in Surabaya, so Koko shouldn't worry about anything early in the morning (or even bother my sleep)
:p hihihi...just kidding!
Before he left home, he gave me a sweet kiss on my lip and whispered me "I love you!"
Wow...I love today!
I woke up and I prayed. I thanked God that He has been faithful to us, to our lives, to everything that we have, love, and care. God is always good!!!!
I was curious to check my late period. I opened the test pack that I bought the other day. I thought I was so worried that I forgot to (Again!!!!) follow the instruction really well. To cut the story short.... there was no result coming out!!
O boy!!!!
I haven't told Koko about this.. I'll wait till he's back home tonight.
Talking about my day... I went to campus today by "angkota" (a public transportation). I sat by a little girl. Since the time I got on the angkota, she was looking at me attentively. As I looked back at her, she looked to other directions!
O well... it was kind of ridiculous.
Anyway, I met Bu Mul in the administration office. I greeted her and we chatted for a while. She would like to do a research with me about Bilingualism. I am really looking forward for it!!
She is one of my favorite lecturers! and I love working with her! (I learn some flexibility from her too....instead of over-structured)
During our lunch break, we went for lunch together. There were 7 of us! We ate at "Bakmi Bandung".
After spending an hour or so back in our offices, we decided to go home! (no better place like home, right?). Fenny drove me and AK. Thanks FK!
I spent for about an hour reviewing the financial record of Formulatrix Indonesia, including updating the spreadsheets. Then, I watered the flowers.
It was fun! For the last few weeks, I have been enjoying my new routine of watering the plants.
Very well..it's already 4.40p.m., I guess it would be better for me to take a shower before Koko gets home.

Salatiga.....
We're now in Salatiga already....busy doing so many things since our arrival.
Me- as usual, can't stand with dust. I ended up catching a light soar throat as well as Koko. Of course, I don't want to keep this forever, three days ago, bravely I did dusting, sweeping, and moping the floor, not to forget, wiping the windows.
I feel better now. Our home is cleaner now.
I can't however iron the clothes for a while since the ironning room is so filthy.
I attempted to find a helper to clean the house for the next few weeks or so.
Yesterday I found one. She used to work for my sister-in-law for quite so long.
As scheduled, she would come to work from 7-9.30 a.m. Well...it is quite challenging for me to wake up at 7 now.
Since we were in Salatiga for the last 5 days, I woke up late. 7 o'clock for me now is too early.
Like this morning, I woke up at 9. (Well..probably because last night again, I got a headache - got a medicine - slept soundly) realizing that it was late. Hurriedly, I checked the front gate looking for our new helper who was already here yesterday.
Unfortunately, she wasn't there. I bet she had been waiting for such a long time and decided to leave at last.
Well..this is a lesson for me to wake up earlier next time.
I don't want to disappoint someone else. I need to force myself to wake up earlier.
There is nothing wrong of being awake early in the morning. I can do more things as I get more time to do them all.
Koko, on the other hand, is now busy preparing all stuff needed to open the Formulatrix Indonesia..starting from meeting the lawyer regarding the legal documents for establishing a new company in Indonesia, searching for location, looking for and recruiting employees, opening a bank account, etc.
Sometime, I will come with him being a good secretary (for a while) as well as a wonderful wife, helping him to organize his today's schedule.
Wherever I go now, my faithful green organizer is with me.
(Inside the organizer, I still have my cute bookmark with the pic of me and my first lovely niece - Jeje, in Koko's bedroom when we were dating).
I enjoy the warmth of love of my nephew (from my side) and two nieces (from Koko's side).
When I was in Jakarta, more than any other experiences I had, I enjoyed being with my nephew - Samuel Bryant Handoko. He acted so cute, pure, a little bit "naughty" being a boy, but polite.
He asked me and Koko to come with him showing his toys upstairs. He held our hands (both Koko and me) gently. There he picked a box of toys and told me his stocks. He suddenly would like to show us a different toy, what he did was amazing.
He collected all the former toys, put them in the box, closed the box carefully, and returned the box in the shelf. "What a boy!"
His mom used to call him, "Boy" because he was the only boy in the extended family- the only grandson for both sides (mom and dad).
My nieces (from Koko's side) are as charming as my nephew.
As we arrived in Salatiga, (my mom and my brother together with his girlfriend picked us up at the airport in Semarang), we took a bath and ate out at "Beringin" restaurant - the best Chinese Restaurant in Salatiga.
Together with my sister-in-law, my brother-in-law, my father-in-law (from Koko's side) in addition to from my side, our nieces were there - Jeje and Iva.
They gave me lots of hugs and told me lots of stories they had been longing to share. I showered them with hugs and kisses 'coz as I missed my nephew, I also missed my nieces.
I brought them books in English. (well..this is the result of having an auntie who is an English teacher) hahaha :)
Strangely, Iva refused to be with Koko but me. (Well...I thought because Koko is the inside uncle, she would get attached to him easily, but I was wrong)
But hey..... Samuel got closer to Koko easily...so....no regret!!!!

Eh..ternyata Koko ndak mau KFC snackers-nya, jadi Mey makan snackers 2 deh

Pulang training, barengan ma Angel, kita mampir di super 88 beli bubble tea.
Begitu nyampe rumah, Mey godog sayur2an..krn Koko mau makan pecel (lagi!)

Ngeposin diploma
Mey hari ini ke kantor Pos di Allston...ngeposin diploma!
Berhubung ukuran diploma lebih besar dari biasanya..akhirnya Mey mesti cari yang amplopnya gede juga..
trus sengaja cari yang ada bubble-nya!
Hm...rada ribet juga tuh! Mey mesti bolak-balik ke counternya sampe 3 kali
Mey juga akhirnya beli money order (kena fee: 0.95) well..it's OK lah...
once in a while!
(ups..baru inget kalo Mey lupa sobek bagian money ordernya Mey)
Duh...Tuhan..tolong dong...hope it's OK! Thank you my Lord...
Siangan Mey sempet telpon Koko..tapi Koko kagak angkat telpon..ternyata Koko lagi sibuk banget..makanya kagak angkat telpon.

Koko is not feeling very well today
Koko hari ini sorean jam 6an telpon...manja banget!
setelah ngobrol2..ternyata Koko ndak enak badan! badan-e rasane ngreges gitu
Trus Mey nanya..is it possible untuk pulang ikutan ma temen?
Koko sih kagak bisa kasih jawaban...krn kagak tau juga sapa yang bisa diajak barengan
Anyway, Mey sembayang ma Tuhan supaya Koko bisa pulang dapet nunutan temen.
Eh jam 7an lebih dikit, Koko telpon bilang kalo udah nyampe Watertown..dianterin ma Zak (bos Koko yang satunya)
Thanks GOD!
Habis denger kabar kalo Koko sekarang lagi nungguin bus, Mey doa lagi minta supaya dikasih bus cepetan!
Hehehe... Tuhan emang selalu jawab doa Mey! God is good!

Duh..panas banget!
Mey barusan keluar ke supermarket Stop and Shops yang dideket gereja...
alamak! panas abis...
Mey beli es...es-nya jadi meleleh deh! hiks..hiks...

Berhubung kemarin malem kita sempet coba tutup kulkas tapi tidak berhasil karena ternyata udah penuh banget bunga es-nya..
kemarin malem Koko matiin kulkasnya.. trus kita slept soundly last night..
'till this morning...setelah Koko berangkat kantor..
Mey lagi enak2an cek email dll...eh..tiba2 ada bunyi air mengalir..
Mey langsung heboh..cek kulkas dan ternyata..air langsung mengalir keluar dari kulkas!
Alamak!!! Mey langsung ambil keset di kamar mandi trus ditaruh dilantai persis dibagian bawah kulkas...
keluarin isinya..dan keringin semua..
sampe sekarang masih ada barang2 yang diluar karena takutnya kalo ndak bener2 kering dulu..ntar masuk kulkas jadi malah bau!
Well...today is extremely hot, man!!!!!
Hari ini suhunya 33derajat Celcius! Duh..rasanya panas banget!
Mey yang didalam rumah aja kaya dioven gitu! :p apalagi yang diluar yach??
Well..tapi Mey mesti keluar juga sih hari ini..mesti pergi ngembaliin DVD King Kong yang kemarin Koko pinjem!
Rencana sih mau ke kampus juga..tp kagak jadi aja ah...panas banget! bisa ntar pulang2 pusing malah barabe deh!

Father's Day
Whew...Mey rasane bete abis...
Hari ini udah hari Jumat (I don't even realize that today is Friday already! 'till I accidentally look up to the calendar)...dan belum ada keputusan pasti besok hari Minggu mau ngapain buat Father's Day.
Kita (Angel and I) baru dikasih tau kalo kita mesti take responsibility over the Father's Day event.
For me personally, it was a shock! (Ternyata Angel juga kaget banget begitu baca email hari Selasa).
O well..and then after brainstorming ideas...(Thanks to Christy for her brilliant idea)...eh..something happened.... and so on and so forth...
Finally..up to now...we haven't reached the final decision mau ngapain...
Anyway, ini habis ngobrol ma Angel lewat chatting..
We think...it would be better to just eliminate the sand idea :p
Thanks GOD! At least my husband is not a late-minute person...jadi kagak stress tiap hari! hihihi :p

I got the signature finally!!!!
Whew..akhirnya dapet juga tanda tangan buat yang final report dikirim ke NY.
Mey hari ini ke kampus pagi-pagi..ternyata Joan Dee (associate dean) lagi ada meeting, jadi mesti balik lagi ke kampus sorean.
Mey tu pagi-pagi udah makan, tapi ndak tau kenapa..tiba2 pusing lagi!!
Well...mungkin kepanasan sih..hari ini keluar rumah kagak pake topi, padahal kan kalo lagi panas gini, kepala Mey kagak bisa kena panas langsung bisa pusing!!
Well..akhirnya pulang dr kampus, mampir dulu ke 88 dan shaw's..ceritanya lagi survery harga barang2 yang mau dibawa ke Indo gitu!! hehehe
alhasil udah dapet harga-harganya, dan setelah ngobrol ma Koko, akhirnya kita kagak bw coklat aja ah...bawa pretzels...
lagipula bosen ah..mosok coklat melulu sih???? :p
Mey belum beli sih...
tapi Mey udah nemuin tempatnya...
besok sih rencana sekalian mau pinjem buku di perpus, Mey bakal survery ditempat yang lain! ^_^ hehehe...
Kata Koko...pinjem aja bukunya, jadi Mey bisa punya kerjaan scan buku2 itu...hehehe
pinter juga tuh Koko kasih kerjaan Mey.
Mey pulang kerumah habis belanja di 88 ama shaw's (beli mouse trap!!!) ih..jijik ih!
Mey makan dulu, trus minum obat..tiduran bentar...
bangun pas alarm-nya bunyi, trus Mey siap2 n ke kampus lagi!!
Mey juga coba pesen transcript buat Pak Bu..tapi ternyata kagak bisa karena mereka butuh tanda tangan langsung dari Pak Bu!!!
Ya udah deh..kagak jadi akhirnya!!!
Pulang dari dapet tanda tangan, Mey mampir ke tempat makan Thai.. Mey beli crispy chicken basil! dulu pernah beli dan kita berdua suka banget!!!
Makannya jadi banyak gitu! hehehe :p
(wah..ntar sampe indo kangen makanan gini kali yach???)
Anyway..it's OK lah..
Ada ganti makanan enak2 lainnya di Indo (well..at least for now..I can say that! ndak tau kalo ntar udah sampe Indo..trus gimana) hehehe :p

"Encender" girls together at Arirang buffet
"Adek" (aka Lely) kagak bisa dateng ke gereja hari ini karena lagi "dapet" (PMS)
gitu deh..
akhirnya kita ber3 (Mey, Angel ma KaTi) sepakat mau tengokin si Adek..sambil ajakin makan siang ke Arirang! (kan kalo makan di Arirang tu happy banget!)
Trus begitu sampe ke EF, naik tangga ke kamar...ternyata Adek masih tidur...
Ety bangunin Lely, tapi Lely malah "ngelantur"..
pas sadar..langsung malu..karena liat ada Mey ma Angel di kamar (Angel waktu itu lagi telpon ma her mom..tapi kan tetep aja keliatan juga!)
hehehe :p
Trus akhirnya kita kasih tau...mau ikutan ke Arirang ndak???
hehehe....(tentu saja seperti yang kita duga!) MAU!!!!
Akhirnya siap2 deh..trus kita berangkat sama-sama..
Eh..ternyata kita kagak dapet2 tempat parkir....(setelah perjuangan mengingat2 jalan ke Arirang! hehehehe)
muter-muter selama more or less 20 menitan kali....trus akhirnya dapet juga tempat parkir (uhm..lumayan jauh juga sih...but it's OK)
Kita malah akhirnya CAREcell di Arirang..ngobrol selama 3 jam-an..
Mey suka sushi-nya, Fish cakenya enak!!!! trus sup-nya kaya sayur asem (it reminds me of mom's cooking) anyway...it's OK... coming home soon!!!
Koko baru pulang jam 10an.. Mey udah ngantuk banget...tapi kagak isa bobok...
Ternyata Mey tu belum makan sore/ malem...hari ini cuma makan sekali ...ya buffet itu!
Trus akhirnya masak mie buat Mey ma Koko (karena Koko juga ternyata mau!) hehehe
You know what????? Lagi asyik-asyik masak, ternyata lewat tikus!!!!!!!!!
Arrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Mey langsung lari ke kamar, naik ranjang..trus ngomong ma Koko... minta ditemenin di living room sambil Mey masak di kitchen!
(jaile..sok banget...wong living room ma kitchen kagak terpisah kok) :p
Jadine besok Mey mesti beli mouse trap jadi Koko bisa pasang perangkapnya buat tikus jelek!!! ih...kok bisa masuk?? jangan2 lewat lubang air apa yach????
udah ah..kagak mau dibahas..jadi jijik!

Tadi pagi kita juga berangkat sendiri-sendiri, trus waktu Mey nungguin bus di sebrang rumah!
Alamak!!! ternyata baru setelah nunggu 30 menit baru dapet bus!!!
Bingung...sampe telpon Angel 2 kali karena takut kalo ntar Angel sendirian!
Eh..ternyata waktu nyampe gereja, Angel juga lagi nyampe!!! arggghh...trus kita mesti cepet2 siap2in semua..
dan ternyata kagak ada table cloth buat meja perjamuan..akhirnya mejanya "naked" deh!
Duh..jadi gimana gitu rasane!!!
Anyway...akhirnya kelar gereja, ngobrol ama Kak Lita, Angel bakal didaulat untuk beli taplak meja... uhhh...lega deh!!

O iya.. wanna take a moment to pray for Jasmine... I know it has been tough for such a young lady like her to "survive" living in the U.S.
She works really hard to self-fund her life and her study.

Cari oleh-oleh & beli koper
Hari ini kita seharian cari oleh-oleh.
Mey seneng banget karena akhirnya dapet oleh-oleh buat Papa ^_^ (yang pasti sih kalo ini Papa suka! hope so!)
Trus kita beli something buat someone's special anniversary. (kita bakal kasih sebelum kita pulang ke Indo!) ^_^ hope mereka suka juga...
Koko juga beli dompet ma sabuk karena punya Koko udah rusak!
Dompet itu dari sejak kita masih dating, Mey kasih kado buat Koko dompet waktu itu.
Trus kalo sabuk sih Koko beli sendiri..tp udah rusak juga...
Jadinya pas kita nemuin yang bagus...akhirnya kita beli deh...sekalian beli oleh2 kan?
Kita juga beli koper..asyik! warnya merah trus bahannya cool!! tahan lama gitu loh!
Eh..ternyata di mall...ketemuan ma Pastor sekeluarga...hehehe..kagak nyangka juga!
Trus ngobrol2 bentar...sempet ditanyain trus kapan pastine pulang-e??
Akhirnya kita jawab kalo tiket pesawat sih kita dapet pas tanggal 5 Juli (satu hari setelah independence day) karena kita pengin liat firework..
tahun lalu kagak sempet sih!! jadine tahun ini harus!!!
Uhm..jadi inget kalo Mey belum beli barang2 BU!!! uhm..enaknya beli apa yach???
jadi bingung nih..yang pasti kan mau beli peta Boston, flyer BU, jaket BU.

At 1 a.m Koko was in the bed with me
Baru jam 1 pagi, Koko pulang sampe rumah.
Mey bangun waktu Koko naik ke ranjang. I asked him what time it was. He said it was 1 a.m.
I kissed him and we slept again.
Jam 8 (biasanya kan jam 7) Koko bangun trus siap-siap. Ternyata kemarin malem begitu nyampe rumah, Koko langsung mandi dulu sebelum tidur.
(well..memang panas banget sih kemarin! 20an derajat!)

Kagak tau ntar kalo udah sampe Indo, suhu 30an kaya apa tuh?? Oh no!!!!!!
Koko hari ini mungkin bakal lembur lagi...jadinya Koko baru berangkat jam 9an deh.
tapi sebelumnya Koko nulis email ke Jeremy, kasih tau kalo Koko bakal telat ke kantornya karena butuh istirahat karena kemarin pulang malem banget! (eh pagi ding!)

Mey bangun waktu Koko naik ke ranjang. I asked him what time it was. He said it was 1 a.m.
I kissed him and we slept again.

Packing up & my diploma
(whew.....) lama juga ternyata udah kagak nulis something disini..
Kangen juga mengekspressikan perasaan disini sekalian share ma yang baca...hehehe
Berhubung udah 2 hari Mey kagak dapet dos dari Shaw's karena katanya sih kesiangan datangnya!!! (O ya???)
Jadinya hari ini Mey bangun jam 7 kurang, trus sekalian masak nasi, sikatan, cuci muka, dll..trus berangkat ke Shaw's..cari dos...
Ternyata Mey dapet 2 dos besar! jadi hari ini bisa mulai packing.
Begitu nyampe rumah, Mey langsung nyalain kompor trus masak ayam ma tahu kalasan yang kemarin bikin! biar fresh...jadi Koko bisa bawa ke kantor buat bekal makan siang!
Uh..berat juga tu ternyata..Mey sampe kagak isa angkat dosnya loh! berat abis!!!
Anyway, trus Mey akhirnya lanjut dengan dos yang satunya lagi..diisi dan diisi..
sekarang lumayan..meja dan lemari yang biasa isine buku2 dan bahan2 kuliah Mey..sekarang udah mulai berkurang.
Mey taruh barang2 yang dibutuhin dengan segera, ntar dimasukin di carry-on aja..
jadi biar bisa dibuka sewaktu2..
I won't be able to access my journals and books for at least 2 months...nungguin sampe buku2 nyampe ke Indo!! hiks..hiks...
I'm gonna miss reading good books and journals in Indo! hiks..hiks...
Hari ini sih basically Mey dirumah aja..lagipula kan ada makanan dirumah jadi ngapain pergi keluar dan beli makan?? buang2 tenaga lah!!!
Malem Koko telpon kalo bakal lembur lagi..tp ndak tau bakal pulang jam berapa.
Hopefully ndak malam2 banget deh!
Jadine sambil nunggu Koko, Mey nonton VCDnya Ety-Lely...trus lanjut nonton "So you think you can dance"..tp jelek ah!!!
Trus jam 11an, Mey lagi sadar kalo Koko tu belum pulang..
Ternyata jam 12an malem, Koko telpon kasih tau kalo Koko bakal pulang..tp naik bus!!
Hah?? sampe dirumah jam berapa tuh??
Mey minta Koko naik taxi aja..tp ternyata Koko lagi kagak bawa uang cash, jd kagak bisa naik taxi dong..trus ntar bayar pake apa coba????
anyway...that's basically what I do today!
It has been a saddening experience though. I called Konsulat Indonesia di NY. Untuk kesekian kalinya akhirnya dapet juga ngomong ma orang langsung setelah beberapa kali coba...yang nerima answering machine lah..or kagak ketemu orangnya..
Dikasih tau kalo mesti lapor diri dan juga bayar $20 untuk dapet surat keterangan membawa barang ke Indonesia.
Trus sekalian legalisasi ijazah...
Trus pas Esti lagi online Mey kasih tau kalo mestinya kemarin ijazah ditinggalin dulu soalnya kan mendingan isa dikirim dulu, jadi ndak nunggu2 (Mey kan kagak bisa kalo nunda2 kerjaan begitu! rasane pengin sekalian diselesaiin)
lagipula kan kalo kirim sekalian kan berarti ngirit juga ongkos kirim dan juga kagak takut kalo barang2 pisah2 gitu...
Anyway...ternyata hal itu bikin Esti mangkel..(Esti lagi berduka cita karena ayahnya meninggal dunia).
Well...I didn't ask her to return the diploma at that time, I just say, "I wish we could have done that!" (How do I know that I will be like this? How do I know that I need those documents too??? wong Mey juga lagi bisa telpon dan ketemu orangnya hari ini..beberapa hari yang lalu..kagak ada yg respon telpon!!)
Mey juga sih (kalo mau marah sih ya pengin tapi I just don't want to do that! I just should not get angry! Not only will I hurt God for being angry, I will also hurt my friend)... so I ended up say "sorry to her" and I told myself to "set aside my thought" 'coz her being home is more important than my own thought.
At one point though I am glad that God allows this argument between us! (Besi menajamkan besi, manusia juga!) If we are not friends, it does nothing to us! but since we are friends, it may either strengthen our relationship or ruin it!
I hope it will strengthen our relationship (hope so)
At least, I have said "sorry". I apologized to her. Whether she would forgive me or not, it was no longer my problem. She deals it with God.

Got another A
Thanks GOD! I got another A for my other courses.
I pray Lord that this semester I could get an excellent grade "A" for all my courses.
I pray (if You allow me, of course), I want to graduate within the highest top rank "Summa Cum Laude".
This is not only be a living offering to You but also a present for my dad, especially because he isn't able to attend my graduation. At least from the diploma, he could be proud of his beloved daughter.
Lord, Thanks! You have been faithful and good to me and my family. I do believe that You will always be faithful 'till the end!
Lord, this morning I pray that You work in us even more Lord.
Show us Your hearts to us and force Your will in our lives that we may live under the canopy of Your love.
Koko berangkat rada siangan hari ini. Ternyata setelah turun kebawah, Koko ketinggalan busnya. Trus kita ngobrol bentar. Akhirnya Mey bilang ma Koko kalo mau sembayang, jadi Koko tutup telponnya.
Maklum jadwal "kencan" Mey ma Tuhan Yesus kan setelah Koko berangkat kantor, jadi tinggal berdua doang ^_^
Tadi pagi sebelum Koko berangkat kantor, Koko kasih tau kalo Jeremy sampe ber"sumpah serapah" karena AMINEF Jakarta mengharuskan kita pulang.
Trus Pak Piet juga menyarankan supaya Mey kontak langsung ma Varinia Grannum aja selaku representative disini... Varinia sekarang lagi out of office, jadi kagak bisa dihubungi. Kira2 kapan yach? bisa kontak lagi? Semoga ndak terlalu lama deh! :)
Anyway, kita berdua serahin semua ma Tuhan lah ^_^ God is good, indeed!

I got an A
This morning, Mey beres2 sambil kasih label buat suvenirnya :p jadi biar kalo bagi2 bisa lebih gampang karena udah ada namanya :)
Trus habis itu Mey laundry ke Harvard Ave. Bakal siap diambil hari Kamis sore :p
Wah pas Mama ma Cie Yau udah dateng tuh...
Mereka kan bakal dateng hari Kamis pagi jam 6.
Ada kejadian rada konyol sih hari ini.
Begitu Koko berangkat kantor, Mey sembayang..trus seperti biasa cek email, dan akhirnya Mey mutusin untuk telpon Mama..nanya tentang keputusan barang2 berharga di rumah yang perlu diamankan :p
Unfortunately, kagak tau kenapa...Mama kagak bisa denger suara Mey.
alhasil my third call was responded emotionally :p Mey rada ndak enak juga sih..bikin Mama keki (kan pasti Mama kirain ada yg isengin Mama)
ternyata beneran, waktu Mey kirim sms ke Cie Yau, Mama bales dan kasih tau kalo ternyata yang telpon Mey...dikirain orang iseng soale :(
Whew..udah diamanin ^_^ jadi tenang deh
Mey trus ke kampus nanyain tentang urusan bill di student account Mey.
ternyata itu buat medical insurance Mey.
Well.. Mey akhirnya email ke Varinia nanya tentang hal ini..ternyata beliau lagi out of office :p waduh gimana dong??
Ada tagihan sebesar $1,228.00 buat insurance...
Mey kelar itu ke kantor Margareth Sullivan (graduate officer). Mey cerita tentang keadaan kita berdua.
Tuhan emang baik banget... Tuhan ingetin lewat beliau kalo kita tu mesti mementingkan keluarga kita diatas kepentingan karir kita masing2.
God, You are so Good!! ^_^ we really love You!!!
Kelar tu Mey ke supermarket, Mey belanja. Ntar malem mau masak! Udah lama kagak pernah masakin Koko..kasihan deh! Berhubung sekarang Mey udah kagak ada kerjaan (well..ada juga sih yang mesti dikerjain..tp ndak lagi paper)
Mey bikin udang goreng tepung...berhubung masih ada sayap di kulkas..sekalian aja digoreng juga :p
Mey juga beli cantaloupe...mirip2 blewah gitu sih...trus Mey bikin es! Yummy!
kali ini dibikin es blewah biasa aja..kapan2 dibikin es campur ma nangka kesukaan Koko! ^_^
Kelar masak, Koko telpon bilang kalo bakal pulang malem, karena ternyata Koko lupa waktu...asyik bikin kerjaan...eh ternyata udah jam 8an.

Shopping
Hehehe.. Hampir 1 tahun, Mey ma Koko udah tinggal disini.
Selama itu juga, Mey selalu cuma beli barang2 yang Mey butuhin, not necessarily barang2 yang Mey pengin beli.
Mey selalu nanya ma diri Mey sendiri, "Do I need the thing or I just want it?"
I ended up not buying anything unless I really need it.
Well..I am not sorry for that. Koko knows that ^_^ That's why today as we went shopping, Koko malah encouraged Mey buat beli karena Koko tau kalo selama ini Mey selalu nahan diri.
It's good in such a way karena kalo emang Koko habis beli something, jadine Mey nahan diri. Kalo dua2nya suka beli2 kan bisa barabe!!!
Waktu Mama ma Cie Yau dateng, Mey juga seneng karena kita udah ada tabungan dan bisa dolan bareng ^_^
Kita berdua juga (karena kesibukan kita masing2), kita belum pernah dolan bareng. Jadi ini jadi kesempatan kita berdua untuk jalan2 juga ^_^ God is GOOD!

Kita makan pizza di Papa Gino's di Target karena Koko udah laper, Mey juga.
Trus kelar makan, kita mau ke restroom...ternyata restroom-nya lagi rusak! hiks..hiks..
ya udah kita pulang, nungguin bus yang ndak dateng2 ^_^
Still...asyik aja karena sambil nungguin bus, kita berdua ngobrol tentang the importance of reading storybooks to children.
Mey pengin beli buku2 buat anak2 kita, jadi mereka bisa sukses di academic performance ^_^ lately, Mey banyak baca buku2, jurnal2, and artikel2 tentang pentingnya bacain buku yang berkualitas buat anak2, karena itu sangat berpengaruh buat later success di sekolah :)
Tentu saja kalo Tuhan kasih kita anak2 Illahi, kita juga mau bertanggung jawab untuk serius mendidik mereka, kasih the best education (of course, semua sumbernya balik lagi ma Tuhan). Salah satunya ya dengan storybook reading itu tadi ^_^

Preparing for Sunday Service with Jasmine
Pagi ini Koko ma Mey bangun pagi jam 8an, rencana mau berangkat ke gereja barengan jam 8.30
Tp kelar mandi kita dapet telpon dr Tara, nanyain mau dijemput sekalian apa ndak?
Trus Koko bilang mau aja ^_^
Anyway...kayane waktunya ndak sempet kalo nungguin Mey, jadi Mey bilang ma Koko, "Koko berangkat duluan aja deh, Yayak ndak naik bus aja deh"
Mey udah turun kebawah, didepan pintu, Mey mikir...
Back waktu di Indo...ada kejadian tidak mengenakkan, jadi Mey decide untuk ganti kostum! Biar orang udah tinggal di Amerika, tp kalo mikirnya masih kaya di Indo..percuma dong...
Lagipula buat Mey, mendingan Mey juga jaga perasaan orang..ndak cuma pengin Mey.
Eh...begitu Mey decide naik keatas buat ganti, bus-nya lewat!
Well..it's ok! Mey turun lagi..nunggu bentar...
trus jam udah mendekatin jam 9an, Mey telpon Jasmine kasih tau kalo kemungkinan Mey bakal telat..ternyata begitu bus dateng, Jasmine di bus itu juga, so kita duduk sebelahan sambil ngobrol, dll...
Sampe di gereja, Mey nunjuk2in ke Jasmine apa2 aja yang mesti dikerjain, tempat nyimpen ini dan itu, dll...trus termasuk kasih checklist yang mesti dikerjain tiap minggu..
Ada data jemaat, namanya Thomas, yang belum kita dapetin. Jasmine semestinya mesti ambil datanya, tp waktu pulang gereja, Thomas buru2 pulang, jadi kagak sempet dapet datanya. Anyway, berhubung Thomas temennya Lidya, Jasmine bakal minta tolong Lidya untuk cari datanya ^_^ Thanks yach Jasmine!!

Anyway...kayane waktunya ndak sempet kalo nungguin Mey, jadi Mey bilang ma Koko, "Koko berangkat duluan aja deh, Yayak ndak naik bus aja deh"
Mey udah turun kebawah, didepan pintu, Mey mikir...
Back waktu di Indo...ada kejadian tidak mengenakkan, jadi Mey decide untuk ganti kostum! Biar orang udah tinggal di Amerika, tp kalo mikirnya masih kaya di Indo..percuma dong...
Lagipula buat Mey, mendingan Mey juga jaga perasaan orang..ndak cuma pengin Mey.
Eh...begitu Mey decide naik keatas buat ganti, bus-nya lewat!
Well..it's ok! Mey turun lagi..nunggu bentar...
trus jam udah mendekatin jam 9an, Mey telpon Jasmine kasih tau kalo kemungkinan Mey bakal telat..ternyata begitu bus dateng, Jasmine di bus itu juga, so kita duduk sebelahan sambil ngobrol, dll...
Sampe di gereja, Mey nunjuk2in ke Jasmine apa2 aja yang mesti dikerjain, tempat nyimpen ini dan itu, dll...trus termasuk kasih checklist yang mesti dikerjain tiap minggu..
Ada data jemaat, namanya Thomas, yang belum kita dapetin. Jasmine semestinya mesti ambil datanya, tp waktu pulang gereja, Thomas buru2 pulang, jadi kagak sempet dapet datanya. Anyway, berhubung Thomas temennya Lidya, Jasmine bakal minta tolong Lidya untuk cari datanya ^_^ Thanks yach Jasmine!!

Nonton for almost half of the day
Kita hari ini sarapan di Anna (Harvard Ave)...rencana sih mau ke Dok Bua tapi ternyata masih tutup.
Akhirnya ke Anna deh. Wah..food server-nya rada ndak ramah :(
Trus Mey juga ndak habis makannya..trus Mey tinggalin karena gosong sih :p
Mey kan ndak suka gosong. Lagipula kagak dikasih sambalnya yang ijo itu..
Habis dari sono, kita berdua ke AMC-Fenway. Tapi ternyata masih tutup, jadi kita nunggu diluar gitu barengan ma orang2 yang lain.
Kita nonton dulu Akella and the bee (tentang spelling bee competition), Mey nangis waktu nonton.
Ceritanya asyik banget. Mengangkat issue kaum minoritas di US yang bisa berjaya ^_^
Trus kelar nonton yang satu ini, kita keluar bentar. Mey pengin ke kamar mandi, Koko beli nacho and drink buat dimakan sambil nonton MI3.
Rame disini!!! Beda banget ma yang tadi... Melo gitu deh :p
Movie-nya baru kelar kira2 jam 7an, trus Mey masih pengin makan Dok Bua, jadi kita ke Dok Bua deh..kita jalan dari T stop. Asyik juga karena ndak terlalu dingin sih

Hehehe..makannya kagak habis trus akhirnya kita bungkus deh :)

Sangobion
Hari ini rencana Mey mau mulai lagi bikin papernya. Karena kan besok hari Kamis bakal dikumpulin, tapi ternyata Mey kagak sempet bikin karena begitu bangun tidur Mey lemes banget.
Trus akhirnya kelar makan, Mey langsung minum sangobion biar tambah darah.
Mey langsung ke kamar trus tidur.
Bangun kira-kira jam 4.30an, Mey trus cari-cari info tentang perjalanan. Mey dapet info perjalanan 5 hari 4 malem ke east coast, berangkat hari Rabu trus pulang hari Minggu. Untuk 4 orang dapet kira-kira harganya $1000an.
Well not bad lah! Bisa jalan2 ke NY, Philly, DC, Hershey's chocolate factory, trus Niagara Falls.
Pertama sih Mey cuma mau ambil yg Niagara, tp begitu dapet yang ada tawaran itu, well...setelah discuss ma Koko akhirnya kita ambil yang itu deh!
Mey mulai set jadwalnya karena Mey kan mau bisa jalan2 ma Koko. Berhubung Koko cuti 1 minggu, jadi untuk acara jalan2 barengan ma Koko, mesti diatur biar Koko juga bisa ikutan! hehehe ^_^
Koko malem pulang kerja telpon Mey, nanya apa Mey udah beli bus pass. O!!! Ternyata Mey kagak sadar kalo hari ini tuh udah tanggal 1 Mei to? kirain masih April
Alhasil Koko mampir dulu ke Shaw's trus beli bus pass. Pulang2 ternyata Koko juga bawa pulang jeruk ma soda. Thanks sayang ^_^
karena emang Mey pengin soda. Biasalah kalo tiap bulan, kita mesti beli soda buat Mey (plus Koko tentu saja) hehehe ^_^
Uhm..hari ini Koko pulang kantor lemes banget. Trus begitu Mey tawarin mau dipijet? Hihihi... Koko langsung iya aja! :) waktu Mey chat ma Cie Yau trus bilang kalo lagi mau pijetin Koko, Cie Yau langsung bilang "mauuuuuuuuu"
huahaha :D uhm..lucu juga sih... ntar lagi ketemu! mesti heboh deh! :)
O iya hari ini juga Pastor telpon, nanyain apa kita butuh van gereja? kita sih ndak mikir kalo butuh van gereja. well...belum tau juga nih..tp kayane sih ndak butuh.

Kelar Pastor telpon, Mey iseng-iseng cari ide buat Mother's Day. Trus dapet ide dr kidsdomain, tp ndak tau juga sih bisa dipake apa ndak?? tak serahin idenya ke Angel ma Christy karena pas Mother's Day kan pas Mey graduation, jd kagak bisa attend Sunday Service deh! :(

It's a nice weather out there
Hari ini begitu bangun Mey rasane males banget. Kemarin malem kalo ndak salah sih sempet kasih tau ma Koko kalo Koko berangkat ke gereja duluan aja yach? Mey mau tiduran dulu.
Eh…ternyata begitu Koko bangun, Koko jadi “males” karena berangkat sendiri. Trus akhirnya Mey kasih tau kalo Mey ikutan berangkat pagi deh!
Karena kemarin malem belum sempet setrika baju Koko, Mey pagi2 setrika baju Koko dulu. Alhasil waktunya ndak cukup buat Mey siap2. Trus Mey kasih tau Koko berangkat aja dulu deh..daripada ntar Koko telat.
Koko akhirnya turun ke bawah duluan, Mey lanjutin siap2…trus Mey turun ke bawah..
Ternyata Koko masih di sebrang jalan nungguin bus. La pas Mey keluar..turun..nyebrang ke jalan, Mey langsung liat ada bus dateng, jadine kita berangkat barengan juga karena busnya juga baru dateng! :)
Brrrrr…rada dingin hari ini! Untung pake jaket yg tebel!:) Thanks GOD!
Mey hari ini sendirian. Kagak tau Angel kagak keliatan tuh. (Ternyata setelah Mey telpon malem ini, Angel cerita kalo ketiduran.) Well…Angel, we pray for you! Jangan kasih kesempatan buat iblis! Bangkit non! Bangkit!! ^_^
Pulang gereja, kita diundang makan ma PaMa Koh Indra & Cie Susan ke Aneka Rasa. Pertama sih kita rencana mau ngajakin Lely makan buffet, tapi berhubung kita diundang makan, kita juga bingung.. Lely diajak apa ndak ya? Mey ndak berani memutuskan karena kan bukan Mey yg ngundang. Alhasil Lucas anterin Lely pulang, trus Lucas nyusul ke Aneka Rasa juga barengan ma kita.
Ety ikutan ke Aneka Rasa karena kan Ety barengan ma Pastor ke NH, jadi mampir juga ke Aneka Rasa. Ety makan pete! Huahaha :D
Pulang dari gereja, Mey ke kamar mandi dan ternyata! Mimpi Mey ndak jadi kenyataan! Mey ndak pregnant! Koko sedih L waktu Mey kasih tau ternyata Mey kagak pregnant!
Anyway… kita tetep ngucap syukur kok! :D Tuhan kita tetep baeeeeeeeek banget :)
Kita hari ini jalan2 ke Boston Common. Enak! Seger banget rasane outdoor!
Trus kita pulang sampe rumah jam 7an…mampir ke Pizza di corner Comm. Ave, kita coba beli.
Trus malem, kita makan pizza deh! Hehehe ^_^ not bad lah!
Masih ada 5 slices. Karena ternyata baru makan satu, kita berdua udah kenyang.
Kita juga beli fries, tapi ternyata Koko pusing krn friesnya. Maklum Koko rada sensitive kalo masalah goreng2an. Minyak harus bersih dan ndak terlalu banyak terserap makanan. Karena kalo ndak…Koko bisa pusing2!!
Itu sebabnya kalo Mey goreng2, Mey selalu “tiriskan” lama banget..jadi biar minyaknya “keluar” dr makanannya! :p well…it’s been challenging.
Koko alhasil makan jeruk 2 buah biar menghilangkan rasa minyaknya! Poor Koko!
Anyway..setelah makan jeruk, Koko lumayan seger. Trus Koko main2 edit foto2 tadi di Boston Common. Mey nonton extreme homemaker, desperate housewives, ma grey’s anatomy. Hehehe :p
Ndak lama, Koko akhirnya nyusul nonton juga! ^_^ trus kita ketiduran!

Marblehead trip with Koko
Kemarin malem, Mey tidur di kamar ma Angel, sedangkan Koko tidur di sofa. Ternyata bangun pagi jam 9an, Koko ngerasa lehernya pegel-pegel.
Well..jadi pelajaran buat kita besok kalo pas Mama ma Cicik dateng. If it’s needed, cari ranjang lipet deh :p
Koko pindah ke kamar bentar, tidur2an sambil nonton TV. Mey nyiap2in sayur2an buat dibawa ke tempat Dorothy and Bob! J Kita berangkat kira-kira jam 11an. Trus begitu sampe di Government Center sebelum pindah ke Blue Line, kita beli Dunkin Donuts dulu…maklum laper amat! Trus setelah itu, kita berdua nunggu di Blue Line.
Begitu dapet, kita langsung ambil posisi karena kan kita berhenti di paling ujung – Wonderland!
Begitu sampe di Wonderland, Mey mencoba mengingat2…nomer busnya berapa yach? Krn too bad… I forgot to bring the notes! L Oh..dear!!!!
Anyway..Thanks GOD! Diingetin ma Tuhan nomer busnya, meski salah, tp setelah coba mengingat tempat bus stop, trus cek..ternyata instead of 411, busnya nomer 441. J
Kita nunggu di waiting room! Lumayan! Ada heaternya..jadi ndak kedinginan di luar!
Kagak tau kenapa nih…meski udah Spring, rasa2nya hari ini dingin banget! Well..ndak sedingin winter sih..tp tetep aja kalo ukuran Spring termasuk dingin! :p
Anyway, setelah nunggu kira2 20 menit, kita dapet busnya. Minta tolong ma supir bus buat kasih tau kita kalo udah sampe di Abbott Library in Marblehead.
Trus Mey telpon Dorothy kasih tau kalo kita udah nyampe. Sambil nunggu Mey pengin ke kamar mandi, jadinya numpang di library deh! Hehehe…
Ndak lama..ternyata Dorothy ma Kerry n Sam jemput. Perjalanan paling Cuma 3 menitan! Yuhhuuuu…ketemu ma anak2nya Kerry ma Brad… Alex, Sam, and Calvin.
Lucu2 deh…mereka cerita2 gitu ma loncat2… Calvin hobby hug orang! Lucu deh!
Ndak berapa lama, Dicky ma Mey dateng ma anak2 mereka, Vela, Vica, ma Vincia.
Hehehe..pas banget deh… 3 cowok & 3 cewek.
Alhasil kemarin orangtuanya bercanda. Gimana kalo dijodohin? Arranged marriage??
Huahaha ^_^ kaya orang jaman bahula aja!
Anyway..kita foto2 loh… Ni fotonya!
Too bad….Esti, Hari & Valen kagak bisa dateng, jadi rada sepi sih! Tapi Indira ma suaminya Sarij dateng. Mereka udah nikah 2,5 tahun. Trus pas kebetulan masing2 ada urusan, seminar ma conference, jd sekalian jalan2 deh ^_^
Pulang dr Dorothy, kita lagi males keluar makan, jadi Mey bikin omelet telor ma maling. Koko seneng loh! Apalagi Mey bikin sambal kecap trus ada krupuk lagi!
Wah..wah…berhubung wajan di rumah tu punyanya yang besar! Jadi kalo mau bikin omelet yang tebel, mesti pake telornya banyak! Untuk bisa bikin omelet tebel, Mey alhasil menghabiskan 8 butir telor di kulkas!
Pertama Koko mau nambah ambil telornya lagi, tapi begitu tapi di setiap potongan telor itu ada 1 butir telor, Koko ambil ½ aja! Hehehe :p
(maklum.. Koko kalo banyak makan telor, jadi udun-en!)

Good news! I am back!

Kemarin malem lucu banget deh, Mey ngimpi kalo Mey pregnant! :p
trus bangun pagi langsung bilang ma Koko kalo Mey ngimpi! hehehe :)
Koko mah ndak bener2 komentar apa2..tp pagi2 waktu mau berangkat kantor, Koko kiss Mey trus bilang, "pregnant yach mimpinya?"
Mey hari ini bangun siang karena kemarin rasane kesel banget bikin tugas!
Hari ini sih bikin tugas juga..cuma ndak sebanyak kemarin!
eh..mikirnya mau kerjain tugas dirumah, tapi malah ndak isa konsentrasi sama sekali!

Sorry... I am so sorry
Yeah...yeah... I know... I really do! I really know!!! that I have missed updating my blogger.
Hari2 terakhir ini banyak banget tugas numpuk!! (Whew.. Mey minta ma BABE... kalo diijinin dapet A semua dong... please??)
Mey udah kerja keras! Duh...sampe rasane waktu-ne habis buat belajar tok!
Selama beberapa minggu terakhir (tuh..udah ndak itungan hari lagi loh!) Mey hampir ndak pernah buka yahoo...or chat! It's just not me! not to chat, I mean!
but hey! that's the fact! that's what's going on so far with me!
Hari ini satu kelas dah kelar! FREEDOM!
Besok satu kelas lagi, trus minggu depan lagi satu! Habis itu Mey lulus deh!
Jadi bingung lagi..mau ngapain yach? hehehe :p
Uhm... begitu sibuknya sampe (keterlaluan deh...it's really not my type!) piring dan gelas, peralatan makan & masak masih di wastafel selama kira-kira 5 hari :(
Oh no!! bener2 bukan Mey. Mey kan paling ndak tahan kalo liat barang di wastafel dibiarin gitu! rasane matane gatel gitu loh!
Jadi selama itu juga, kita makan pake piring sterofoam..uhm..boros sih...tp ma gimana? karena terakhir Mey juga sering kumat tekanan darah rendahnya..mungkin ya itu karena kekeselen sih :( hiks..hiks..
Thanks God banget! kasih suami yang pengertian dan sayang Mey. Mey (literally I should say) mengelarang Mey masak or kesel. Koko once in a while cuciin piring buat Mey. Koko ndak ngomel kalo rumah berantakan..
Well...I should say kalo rumah ndak pernah sampe kapal pecah sih..cuma kan biasane Mey selalu rapiin teratur gitu...for this case, kagak ada tenaga dan waktu buat itu semua! bisanya cuma diberesin apa adanya!!
Hm... kangen juga sih dah lama ndak nulis disini...tp apa daya...tenaga udah mulai terkuras...
Well..berhubung hari ini Mey baru pulang jam 7malem lebih sampe rumah, Mey kagak masak lagi... I guess kita bakal makan luar lagi deh!

Ke Kantor Koko hari ini
Hari ini Koko pagi2 udah kerja...di kantor ada yang mesti dikerjain, jadi hari ini kelar mandi, kita berangkat ke kantor Koko.
Koko pagi2 sebelum berangkat makan mie goreng yang kemarin Mey bikin...hehehe...dihabisin ma Koko karena Koko suka..katanya enak! ^_^
Pertama kita turun ke bawah, Koko dengan PD-nya ndak mau pake jaket...tp begitu ter-expose ma dinginnya, akhirnya pake jaket deh!
trus kita nungguin bus sampe dateng...
Hehehe..endingnya Mey malah yang kedinginan!padahal dah pake jaket..tp maklum sih jaket jeans..jadi tambah dingin deh!!
Well..turun dr bus, kita trus langsung makan di KFC! Yummy! hehehe...apa krn laper yach? well..tetep enakan KFC Indo sih...ada pedes2nya itu loh..yg bikin kt kangen!
Kelar makan kita jalan lagi ke kantor, trus berhenti di river dulu..liat bebek yg lagi "mengerami" anaknya...
Trus sekarang ini...(pas Mey nulis ini), Koko lagi kerja, ngetes mesinnya... ^_^
jadine Mey drpd nganggur main aja...hehehe..
kan udah lama ndak nulis juga...
O iya...rencana kita mau "pinjem" dulu mobil gereja...karena kan Koko akhirnya udah dapet SIM..trus kita sih emang rencana mau beli mobil, tp tunggu dulu deh rencana kita kedepan gimana dulu :p
uhm..trus besok pulang gereja, rencana mau ambil mobilnya..sekalian ganti aki-nya krn mungkin udah soak deh...

Pulang kelas awal krn mau pingsan!
Oh NO!!!!
Hari ini dari pagi Mey udah ke kampus krn mau baca novel di kampus trus sekalian kuliah.
Pagi2 Mey udah makan banyak banget! trus baru berangkat, jadi kan udah berbekal perut kenyang..gitu ceritane....
tp ternyata jam 2/3an, Mey bener-bener ndak tahan...rasane ngliyeng banget!
Mey udah ngerasa mau pingsan gitu...
Mey akhirnya naik ke lantai 4 trus ngeprint tugas..berangkat ke kampus pagian karena rencana mau ngomong ma dosennya supaya bisa ndak ikutan kelas.
Mey coba beli makan ma minuman sing anget supaya sapa tau bisa mengembalikan tekanan darah Mey..jadi naik gitu lah maunya..
Mey sengaja duduk di deket pintu supaya kalo emang mau pulang jadi gampang keluarnya.
Mey ndak tahan..sampe akhirnya nunggu break, Mey langsung bilang ma prof kalo Mey mau pulang awal krn tangan Mey dingin banget!
Prof kasih bungkusan plastik, dia bilang itu buku yang Mey sempet mau pinjem ^_^
Mey rada bingung..itu buku dikasih buat Mey apa cuma dipinjemin yach? well..besok nanya deh ^_^

I ain't get the job
Lord, I ain't get the job. I just got a call and the Human Resource Officer notified me the result. Due to my circumstances of J-1 visa, I couldn't get the job.
I am not planning to question You, my Jesus 'coz You are unquestionable
I am not planning to doubt You, Lord because doubt doesn't exist in your dictionary
I am not planning to leave You, my God for I belong to You
I am not planning to depart from You, my everything as I am in Your embrace
You hold me closer into your sweet, sweet embrace
As David wrote, "My soul, praise The LORD!"
I demand my soul to praise You, my JESUS! 'coz with no doubt You deserve my everything!! Yeah...it's true! You deserve my everything, Lord!
I even have no right to claim all that You have given to me as mine! They are all YOURS, my Jesus!
You give and take away... You give and take away ^_^
I cry and I am hurt as I surrender all to You, Lord but again, I keep telling my self that all belong to You, Lord!
I offer You my total sacrifice, O Lord ^_^
It's painful seeing my husband's sad eyes every night. It's heartbreaking losing things that seem convincing here with Koko's career. My heart scatters picturing him searching for "unseen" jobs he really loves back in Salatiga.
I do believe You, my Jesus that You prepare every single detail in our lives starting from the beginning. The best is yet to come, isn't it, Jesus?
You open up the "unseen" jobs, the "unopened" ways and many other things ^_^
Lord, is it my birthday present from You? If it's so, I still thank You, Lord!
I do have questions in mind, but I don't question Your authority in my life.
Let You answer my questions in due time.
All things that we experience are nothing compared to all things You had been through while living on earth. O Lord, my heart is filled with gratitude for all the examples You have modeled.
Thank You, my Jesus! ^_^

Dia itu nama bosnya Dina. Mey coba daftar kerja disono gantiin Dina.
trus akhirnya kita schedule an appointment for an interview.
Pertama sih Mey bilang kalo hari Senin aja jam 10 krn kan Mey ditanyain...
trus setelah mikir2, Mey jadi kepikiran kenapa ndak Rabu besok aja? kan Mey pagi juga ndak ada apa2...
Mey coba akhirnya telpon beliau lagi...nanya kemungkinan kalo interview dimajuin hari Rabu besok gimana? ternyata dia bisanya jam 3 sore.
padahal kalo jam segitu Mey ndak punya waktu cukup, karena kan ada kelas jam 4nya...
Akhirnya we stick to Sunday at 10.

Mey juga bingung nih..mesti kostum apa dong? mesti resmi2 ria kan mestinya?? hehehe...

Set up voice mail
Sorean Dina telpon waktu Mey kelar pulang kampus, habis belajar di kampus.
Dina bilang kalo bosnya tadi coba telpon Mey, tp ndak nyambung, trus ndak ada voice mail juga..
Mey rada lemes juga sih..waktu Dina bilang gitu...
Well..tp ada bagusnya juga sih..jadi ketauan kan? Mey jadi rada mikir juga..mungkin bener juga tuh omongan Dina, "mungkin selama ini udah banyak yang coba kontak Cicik, tp berhubung Cicik ndak set up voice mail, jadi mereka mungkin mikir kalo Cicik ndak serius karena no yang Cicik kasih ndak nyambung"
Oh dear...karena selama ini kan Mey lebih banyak di perpus, yang alhasil ndak ada sinyal...
anyway... Mey bersyukur kok tetep karena Tuhan juga kasih Dina buat ingetin Mey akan hal ini..selama ini kan cuek aja..ndak ngerasa penting set up voice mail.

Kasih laporan ke Pastor ma Kak Lita tentang CAREcell kita, Encender. Selain itu Mey juga kasih follow-up ke CAREcell leaders yang lain buat ingetin yang lain2...
Mey belum masukin semua data CAREcell leaders ke yahoo address Mey, jadi Mey baru kirim buat yang ada di yahoo address dulu.
Uhm..ni PR yang harus dikerjain juga nih..
Mey ndak mau nunda2 kerjaan...karena kalo ditunda2 ntar malah tambah banyak..rasane ndak abis2!!!
Trus begitu Koko pulang...ternyata Koko pulang jam 8an..dianterin ma Zak (bosnya yang satunya)...
Zak cerita kalo dia sering ngomong ma Jeremy supaya gaji Koko dinaikin terus karena company butuh Koko banget! gitu deh ^_^ Thanks God for your GRACE.
Ternyata Koko juga ndak ngerti..alhasil Mey coba telpon Kak Lita..
trus Kak Lita nyaranin supaya kita coba telpon no kita sendiri...eh berhasil! :)
akhirnya udah di set-up sekarang.
Pastor protes dengan isi blog kita berdua..karena waktu itu Mey sempet nulis something yang mnrt Pastor..ndak seharusnya dimasukin...
Kak Lita mencoba menjelaskan kalo emang alasan nulis blog karena buat kasih kabar ma keluarga yang di Indo, tp kata Pastor.. "la wong masuk di friendster kok..la ya orang lain isa liat juga to" :p
Well..akhirnya yang bagian itu (biiiiiiiippp...sensor!!), Mey edit deh ^_^
Kaki Koko kesel banget hari ini..kemeng semua karena ndak pernah lari2 gitu kan? tau sendiri sepak bola kan ya cuma lari sana dan sini...
trus akhirnya malem, Mey pijetin kaki Koko ^_^ Koko mah seneng2 aja..hahaha :)
Dina bilang kalo bosnya tadi coba telpon Mey, tp ndak nyambung, trus ndak ada voice mail juga..
Mey rada lemes juga sih..waktu Dina bilang gitu...
Well..tp ada bagusnya juga sih..jadi ketauan kan? Mey jadi rada mikir juga..mungkin bener juga tuh omongan Dina, "mungkin selama ini udah banyak yang coba kontak Cicik, tp berhubung Cicik ndak set up voice mail, jadi mereka mungkin mikir kalo Cicik ndak serius karena no yang Cicik kasih ndak nyambung"
Oh dear...karena selama ini kan Mey lebih banyak di perpus, yang alhasil ndak ada sinyal...
anyway... Mey bersyukur kok tetep karena Tuhan juga kasih Dina buat ingetin Mey akan hal ini..selama ini kan cuek aja..ndak ngerasa penting set up voice mail.
Kalo udah gini...hehehe..jadi penting juga..
cuma berhubung Mey ndak tau set-up-nya gimana... Mey nungguin Koko pulang...
Mey akhirnya beresin file-file Sunday Service and CAREcell.
Kasih laporan ke Pastor ma Kak Lita tentang CAREcell kita, Encender. Selain itu Mey juga kasih follow-up ke CAREcell leaders yang lain buat ingetin yang lain2...

Minggu ini kita ngapain yach?
Kita berangkat ke gereja jam 9, dijemput ma Tara..barengan ma Michael n Kak Lita.
Mey trus langsung beres2..siapin buat perjamuan.
Trus Angel dateng bawa botol minum. Pertama kita kirain Tante Elise bakal masak, ternyata Tante lagi sakit, jd ndak masak deh.
Mey akhirnya vacuum gereja karena udah mulai kotor tuh.... :(
Pulang gereja, kita bareng2 makan di 88...
Mey pesen salted fish and chicken fried rice, Koko beli combo (pop-corn chicken n bubble tea)
Asyik..kita jadine makan banyak deh...dua-dua-ne habis ^_^
sampe rumah, kita berdua nonton film barengan.
Kita dinner cuma makan macaroni schotel yang kemarin Jumat bikin.
Wah..udah mau bau nih...jadi mesti dibuang deh besok!
Trus kita berdua tidur pagian...well at least Mey sih tidur pagian...hehehe :p

Meeting at church - lanjut jalan2
Kelar meeting di gereja, Angel ma Mey presentasi...
Duh...akhirnya presentasi kelar juga...sampe dibelain tidur jam 2 pagi...trus pagi2 berangkat ke gereja lagi :)
Habis itu barengan ma temen2 gereja yang lain, kt makan Korean..
Uhm..not bad lah...tiap orang habis $17, jadi kita berdua spent $34.
kalo beli pecel madya bisa dapet berapa yach??? ah..ndak usah dipikirin! daripada pengin makan pecel madya! kan repot ntar malah!!!
kasihan Koko jadi kebingungan kalo Mey penginnya aneh2... :p
Trus ternyata masih belum puas, kita akhirnya lanjut nonton di AMC-Fenway!
huahaha ^_^ lucu abis! ICE AGE MELTDOWN!!!
kocak abis! ndak sia2 deh nonton!! seneng banget karena lucu!!!
penuh banget tuh gedung bioskop, bahkan yang first row aja ada yang mau duduk...
ih..kita berdua mikir..ngapain nonton kalo ternyata mesti nontonnya bikin sakit leher gitu yach??
anyway..kita pulang jam 6an sampe rumah, trus kita akhirnya (duh..ngapain yach? habis itu? kok jadi lupa?? ni akibat ndka langsung ditulis sih) :p
let's me think...uhm..iya..kita mandi air anget...dipuas2in mandi...karena kan udah seharian keluar...kan mesti kena banyak kotoran/debu diluar rumah...
seger banget..abis mandi..langsung tidur...jadi boboknya nikmat banget!!!
See you tomorrow di gereja ^_^
